If glasses or contacts are worn when you are normally driving. You will need to wear these during your drive in the V8 Ute.

Clothing

You will need to wear fully closed style "Runners" or similar flat soled shoes. We recommend the use of wool or cotton socks. Health

Drivers that are over 135 kg, taller than 195cm (6.7ft) or shorter than 151cm (5ft) or have a body mass index (height cm / weight kg) below 1.35 may not be able to participate due to size limitations of race suits and the ability to fit safely into the V8 Race Ute. For rides in a V8 Race Ute these restrictions are much more lenient. Please contact us for further information if you are unsure.

If you have any concerns with respect to experiencing a high-speed drive or ride with a high G-force load and physical demand of a racing Ute, it is recommended that you seek professional medical advice before booking your V8 Ute Racer Race day.

This is not a suitable activity for drivers who are pregnant.

Pets

Pets are strictly prohibited from all V8 Ute Racer Race days.

Approx Duration of race day

It is best to allow about four (4) hours for your V8 Ute Racer race day. After you book your race day we will send you a confirmation E-mail one week prior to the race day, with the time you need to be at the race track, where to go and what you need to bring with you. Some of our other packages such as the Ultimate Racers package and the Racers Race Day Package will require your attendance for most of the day.

When you arrive at the race track you will need to go to the sign on office and fill out your indemnity form to get your wrist band. We then take you to your drivers briefing to discuss safety and driving techniques. Then it’s down to get your race suit and helmet fitted and after that its off to the pit lane to get ready for your turn to become a V8 Ute Racer.

Weather

V8 Ute Racer race days continue even in rain so if your race day happens to fall on a wet day the race day will still go ahead. However if the race track has a large amount of standing water the sessions may be stopped until the race track is deemed to be safe to continue racing.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or change your V8 Ute Racer race day after you have booked the day you need to contact V8 Ute Racer three (3) weeks prior to the scheduled date, otherwise you will forfeit your V8 Ute Racer Race day. With motorsport being motorsport sometimes unforseen circumstances will occur throughout our race days. We will do our best to accommodate everyone but we may have to cancel some V8 Ute Racer drives or rides. If this is the case you will be offered to transfer the date to another of your choice or a full refund will be offered. We do not reimburse you for lost time.

DVD Recording
